You choose for each person in Settings, under Your family tree: "View only", "View and edit", or "Everything I can do". Then fine-tune person by person if you like. For example, Grandma might be View only, your brother View and edit, and your cousin who helps run the tree Everything I can do. You can change anyone's rights at any time.
